Alvinesa Natural Ingredients Appoints Olivier Lavaud as New CEO
Alvinesa Natural Ingredients is pleased to announce the appointment of Olivier Lavaud as Chief Executive Officer, marking a new stage in the company’s international growth and consolidation as a global platform for natural, sustainable and high value-added ingredients.
With a strong international background in general management and leadership roles within B2B industrial companies, Olivier Lavaud brings extensive experience in strategic growth, business transformation, operational excellence and the development of multicultural teams. His profile combines international vision, customer orientation and the ability to drive organizations in sectors where sustainability, innovation and efficiency are key competitive factors.
Prior to joining Alvinesa, Olivier Lavaud held senior leadership positions in international industrial companies such as Agronova BioTech, Mativ, Neenah and ITASA, where he led businesses and teams in B2B environments, driving growth, transformation and operational excellence.
His appointment reinforces Alvinesa’s ambition to continue expanding its position as a reference in the valorisation of by-products from the wine and olive oil industries, transforming natural raw materials into valuable ingredients through a circular economy model.

As part of its international platform, Alvinesa has strategic operations in Spain and Latin America, including Dervinsa in Argentina and Vinicas in Chile, strengthening its sourcing, production and service capabilities for global customers.
The company will continue to develop its portfolio of natural and sustainable solutions, including branded ingredients for the nutraceutical sector such as Hytolive®, Vintera® and Teralive®, a new ingredient based on Mediterranean Polyphenol Synergy. The portfolio also includes Vitifresh and Oleafresh® for food protection and preservation applications, as well as Vitifeed and Oleafeed for animal nutrition.
